Heatmap & Behavior Details — Stats Panel (wpmc-stats-layout)
This is the summary strip at the top of the Details view for a specific page. It gives you a quick read on the most important metrics for the selected URL and provides a one-click reset.
What you see
- Total Views
The total number of page views for this page (based on your current date range/context in Details). - Unique Users
The count of distinct visitors (by anonymous user ID) who viewed this page. - Avg. Time on Page
The average time spent on this page, formatted asXm YYs(e.g.,3m 07s).
(In the code: seconds are rounded to an integer, then split into minutes + seconds.) - Search Engine Traffic
A compact line with per-search-engine counts (e.g.,Google: 123 Bing: 7 …).
This lets you quickly see how much of the page’s traffic comes from search and which engines contribute most. - Reset Data (button)
A trash-button labeled “🗑 Reset Data” specific to the current page URL.
Pressing it triggers a confirmation and then permanently deletes stored tracking data for this page (clicks/views for that URL).
How to use it
- Open Heatmap and Behavior Details for the page you want to analyze.
- Look at the Total Views and Unique Users to size the audience and engagement.
- Check Avg. Time on Page to gauge content stickiness.
- Glance at Search Engine Traffic to see if search is a major driver for this page (and which engines).
- If you need a clean slate (e.g., after a redesign or test), click 🗑 Reset Data.
- Confirm in the prompt.
- Remember: this is irreversible for this page’s stored data.
Practical tips
- If Avg. Time on Page is low but Views are high, inspect the click map and fold placement — users may bounce early.
- A strong Search Engine Traffic line suggests reviewing titles/meta and above-the-fold CTAs on this page.
- Use Reset Data right before a new A/B round to make before/after comparisons cleaner.
