This tab provides a mobile-specific heatmap for the selected page, showing where users tap or interact on small-screen devices. The layout, controls, and usage are similar to the desktop heatmap but optimized for mobile analysis.
What You See
- Top Control Panel (“panel-above-iframe-mobile”)
- Color selectors for the three click types:
- Click – regular taps on elements.
- Navigation – taps leading to page changes or navigation.
- CTA – key actions such as form submits, orders, or other conversion-related taps.
- Each click type has:
- A color swatch picker.
- A hidden input for storing the selected value.
- A tooltip explaining its purpose.
- A Save button to store your mobile color preferences (nonce protected).

- Loads the mobile version of the actual page inside a dedicated
<iframe>. - Click/tap points are drawn over the content in real-time.

How to Use
- Open Heatmap and Behavior Details for the desired page.
- Switch to the 📱 Mobile Heatmap tab (
wpmc-heatmap-container-mobile). - Choose your preferred colors for Click, Navigation, and CTA points in the top panel, then click Save.
- Scroll through the iframe to see how mobile visitors interact with the page.
- Compare with the desktop heatmap to detect major differences in behavior.
Analysis Tips
- Thumb Zones: Check if important elements (e.g., buttons, menus) are within easy reach on mobile.
- CTA Placement: CTAs should be visible without excessive scrolling, but still high enough engagement.
- Navigation Flow: If navigation clicks are too high on unrelated links, consider simplifying menus or reducing distractions.
- Tap Accuracy: If clicks cluster near but not on the intended element, spacing or sizing might need adjustment.

- Why does the mobile heatmap differ from the desktop one?
Mobile users often behave differently—more focus on quick actions, less reading, and more swiping. - Why are there no taps recorded?
